I can remember my first pair of leg warmers like it was 30 years ago. (It was 30 years ago.) I wore the heck out of those rainbow striped calf mittens. But not for dance. No, just over the legs of my jeans...in Texas... where it is always warm. I was cool...but not in the sense that I was not warm.
I, for one, am excited that leg warmers are poised to make a comeback on the fashion scene. Leg warmers are practical for dancers, sure. But here are a few ways you can incorporate your favorite pair of leg warmers into your everyday attire:

I had rainbow striped leg warmers too! But, I think if you were a girl in the 80's it was a requirement. I also had purple leg warmers. That I wore with my purple tights, purple skirt and purple shirt, because that was another prerequisite of the 80's. Oh yeah, purple eyeshadow too. Damn, I miss the 80's.
